Diversity, Equity, and INclusion
A FOCUS ON INCLUSION
SCP works to ensure a welcoming and inclusive Society for members of historically disadvantaged and underrepresented groups by fostering communication and interaction among all Society members. We strive to increase scientific understanding of the structural callenges, experiences, and cultures of underrepresented groups by promoting and supporting research participation in areas addressing diversity. Diversity, equity, and inclusion play key roles in shaping the Society’s policies on research, professional development, and knowledge dissemination.
JCP Resources for Teaching DEI
JCP scholars have focused on cutting edge research at the intersection of inclusion, equity, marketing and consumption. For each JCP publication below, the authors have put together a slide deck with key take-aways that can be adopted for in-class sessions.
