CPR Seeks New Editor(s) in Chief
The Society of Consumer Psychology is seeking nominations and applications for an Editor or a Co-Editor team for the Consumer Psychology Review, which will be expiring on December 31, 2025.
Consumer Psychology Review (CPR) is an annual journal of the Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP). CPR aims to provide systematic, integrative, and thought-provoking reviews in areas of classic and contemporary significance in consumer psychology. The primary goals of the journal are to:
- Increase the visibility of current research in or relevant to consumer psychology,
- Serve as a foundational resource for consumer psychologists, and
- Showcase critical and cutting-edge theoretical developments in consumer psychology research.
All articles are invited by the editors, in consultation with the Scientific Advisory Committee.
The editorial team will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2026. Editorial responsibilities include selecting article topics, inviting authors, vetting manuscripts, and accepting articles for publication.
We encourage all nominations, including self-nominations. Submissions should include:
- CVs of all editorial team members
- A brief statement outlining potential areas the team would like to showcase
These materials should be submitted to Rebecca Reczek, Past-President of the Society for Consumer Psychology and Chair of the Publications Committee, at nominations@myscp.org by June 1, 2025, for consideration.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of scholarship in the discipline of consumer psychology and a history of active involvement in scholarly publications. The editorship is a volunteer position, but SCP provides an annual budget to support the editorial team in their stewardship of CPR.
